Services may include personal care, homemaker services, companionship, assistance with activities of daily living, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other approved support services based on the client’s individual needs and plan of care.

Yes. Guardian Angel Care Services works with select Florida Medicaid programs and managed care plans. Coverage and eligibility vary depending on the individual and their health plan. Contact our office so we can help determine whether we participate with your specific plan.
Yes. We accept private-pay clients who wish to pay directly for home care services. Our team can discuss your care needs, available scheduling, rates, and service options with you.
Yes. Guardian Angel Care Services may provide services to eligible Veterans through approved VACCN program. Please contact our office so we can discuss your authorization or determine what information is needed to begin services.
Yes. Our private-pay services generally require a three-hour minimum per visit. Scheduling and availability may vary based on the client's location and care needs.
Companion services focus on socialization, supervision, conversation, and activities that help reduce isolation.Homemaker services may include light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and other household tasks.Personal care services provide more hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.The services provided will depend on the client's approved plan of care and individual needs.

We will discuss your location, schedule, care needs, payer or payment method, and other important information to determine the next steps.If you already have Medicaid or another program providing your home care benefits, you may also need to contact your case manager or health plan regarding authorization.
We consider the client's needs, preferences, personality, location, schedule, and caregiver availability when making assignments. Our goal is to find a caregiver who is a good fit while also meeting the requirements of the client's care plan.
If your regular caregiver becomes unavailable, our staffing team will make reasonable efforts to locate another qualified caregiver for your scheduled services. While replacement coverage cannot always be guaranteed, we understand the importance of consistency and will work to minimize interruptions in care.
We use several methods to help monitor service delivery, including Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), scheduling records, caregiver documentation, client communication, and supervisory oversight.We encourage clients and families to contact our office whenever they have a concern about their services.
Guardian Angel Care Services uses Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) to promote accountability, accuracy, and transparency in the services provided to our clients.EVV helps document important visit information, including caregiver arrival and departure times. This allows our agency to better monitor scheduled services, maintain accurate records, and verify that clients are receiving the care they are scheduled to receive.

We strive to provide consistent caregivers whenever possible because continuity is important to our clients. However, caregiver assignments may occasionally change because of availability, illness, emergencies, scheduling changes, or other circumstances.
Interested caregivers can complete our employment/application process. Qualified applicants who move forward will receive instructions for completing the required onboarding paperwork, documentation, training, and other requirements before beginning services.
Not necessarily. Requirements depend on the position and services you will be providing. Applicants who are not CNAs may be required to meet Home Health Aide (HHA) qualifications and complete applicable competency requirements before being assigned to clients.
Required documents may include a government-issued photo ID, Social Security card, CPR certification, CNA or HHA documentation if applicable, direct-deposit information, health/TB documentation, and other required onboarding forms.Additional documentation may be required depending on the position or program.
Yes. Caregivers must complete all applicable company and state-required training within the required timeframe. Training requirements may vary depending on the caregiver's position and the services being provided.
Yes. Our online Training Portal monitors training activity, including time spent within the portal and on individual training modules.Caregivers are expected to complete required training in full. Simply clicking through training pages does not constitute completion.
ADRD stands for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias. Certain caregivers are required to complete approved ADRD training based on their position and applicable requirements. Onboarding instructions are provided to caregivers who are required to complete this training.
Caregivers should monitor the contact information and communication channels provided during onboarding. Staff are responsible for reviewing important scheduling, training, compliance, and company communications in a timely manner.
The cost of home care in Tallahassee varies depending on the type of care needed, the length and frequency of visits, and the individual care plan.
